If advertising is added.
Advertisements should be clearly labeled and visually separated from article links, menus, controls, and downloads. Editorial recommendations must remain distinguishable from commercial placements. No one should be asked or incentivized to click ads to support the site.
Approval is a separate process.
A polished website and a large article library do not guarantee AdSense approval. Google evaluates the actual site, its content, ownership, access, and policy compliance. The owner must complete the account and site-review process and supply the correct publisher configuration.
Privacy and consent.
Before advertising starts, the site owner must review the applicable Google policies, configure any required consent management, publish accurate disclosures, and keep the experience accessible. A decorative cookie banner is not a substitute for a correctly configured consent platform.
